Prairie Crossroads Blues Society
PCBS Blues Jam 7:00 pm the 4th Wednesday of each month Pipa's Pub, 604 S. Country Fair Dr., Champaign
Each month a local blues band kicks off the jam by hosting the 1st set. They then open it up to all the jammers in the house. Bring your instrument and plan on sitting in!
July's jam will be hosted by Groove Avenue on Wednesday July 27. It's at our new location, Pipa's Pub on Country Fair Dr. in Champaign (just south of Springfield Ave.). In August Bruce "Bruiser" Rummenie will be hosting the jam.

Thanks to Bentley's Pub for hosting our first year of jams. We'll keep the same format and same friendly atmoshphere in our new location.
Thanks to Champaign Underground for shooting several videos of recent PCBS/Bentley's Blues Jams. Here's a great video from the Martini Brothers on 10/15/15 doing the classic Statesboro Blues.
Here's another sweet video, the Martini Brothers performing Night Train.
Prairie Crossroads Blues Society is happy to help revive the tradition of a blues jam in the C-U area. The jams take place the 4th Wednesday of every month. Jams so so far have been hosted by Andrew Duncanson & Susan Williams, Kathy Harden & Tony Juodis, and Josh & Jake Stimmel with Abraham Johnson, Candy Foster & Friends, Groove Avenue, The Martini Brothers, The Blues Deacons, Kilborn Alley and Noah Williams and the Back Alley Band. There's been plenty of jammers sitting in and the fans have been thoroughly entertained. Make plans to be there!
