Established in June 2010, The Prairie Crossroads Blues Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in
Champaign-Urbana. The society’s membership are dedicated to the purpose of preserving, promoting and educating the
public about “Blues Music.”
Originally from Tolono, Harden now resides in Nashville, Tennessee and continues his musical career that now spans
more than four decades. Besides being an accomplished guitar player, Harden is also well known for his harmonica,
dobro and blues mandolin playing.
To his credit Harden has produced 12 different music CD’s including his newest “calico,”
along with several other solo projects. He also participated in the production of several musical arrangements
and one in particular for the Mark Roberts production of “Where The Great Ones Run.” In 1993 he joined fellow
musicians Billy Galt and Andy Burnett and produced his first release while fronting The Keith Harden Band.
For several years Harden was known as one of the hottest acts around The Champaign –Urbana area for his style
and versatility. This allowed him the opportunity to open for several well known blues performers including
Delbert McClinton, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Dr. John and many more. For more information about Keith
